Salama ! Hello! My name is Christian. I come from a remote region of Madagascar where only a few have the opportunity to pursue their studies. I worked hard to attend and finish my studies at University. After completing my studies, I still faced challenges in finding employment in my chosen field of study. In 2016, my hometown of Antsirave hosted the Summit of Francophonie (88 member countries of French speakers across five continents). Leading up to the summit, my government recruited me to be a local guide for visitors, and I completed a two-month training course to be a certified tour guide. After this visit, I continued to work as a local guide. My success in local guiding led me to become a National Guide. I provide guiding services to local and international visitors to Madagascar. My goal is to establish sustainable tourism through the work I do, the experiences I share with visitors. Sustainable tourism is important to me because I am passionate about conserving the nature and wildlife of Madagascar while helping locals from remote regions like mine benefit from the tourist economy. I have conducted several long tours in remote parts of Madagascar, with an emphasis on sustainable eco-tourism that promotes a respect for local traditions and cultures. I have collected donations for several villages that are far from roads and highways so that they can improve the physical conditions of their school. Help the villagers improve their school and develop a curriculum that incorporates habitat preservation. National Tourist Guide authorised by the Ministry of Tourism. Selected as a winner of: Learning experience of the Year by Travel and Hospitality Award in 2019. I am not a driver. On tour, we will have a driver.

Madagascar is the fourth largest island in the world, famous especially for wildlife and nature. In some books, we may see that the island is called The Seventh Continent due to its importance in Biodiversity. This multi-day tour will allow you to explore wildlife in two different habitats: East - where is more rainforest, and West - where is more dry deciduous forest. The dry forest is richer in biodiversity compared to rainforest. Those sites are for birdwatching as well if you like it. *For a more detailed itinerary with information about your accommodation, please contact me by message.
