Half Day Montego Bay City Tour

Experience the culture and feel the warmth of the Jamaican people as we take a trip through the residential communities and see the lifestyle of the locals. We will also visit a small bird farm. Where you have the chance to pet many different birds and even rabbits. You will get the chance to feed the birds. Be sure to snap a picture with the "Rasta Fowl". Live a little history as we journey through Sam Sharpe Square. Here you get to see several heritage structures, such as the Sam Sharpe Monument, the cage and the Cultural Centre. Samuel Sharpe is one of our national heroes. Sharpe became a well-known preacher and leader in the Baptist Church, which had long welcomed the enslaved as members and recognized them as preachers. He was a deacon at the Burchell Baptist Church in Montego Bay. Sharpe spent most of his time traveling to different parishes in Jamaica, educating the enslaved about Christianity, which he believed promised freedom. Then we will head to an authentic Jamaica Restaurant for lunch.

Suggested Itinerary: • Pickup from Cruise port/ Resort • Visit residential communities of Montego Bay to see how the locals live. We will visit different levels of housing area to include upper class and lower class living. • City Tour of Montego Bay driving through the bustling downtown area, including Sam Sharpe Square. • We will then visit a small bird farm. • Lunch stop (own expense) • Final stop shopping (optional) • Drop off port/ resort All my tours can be customized upon request
