Overview of your Montego Bay tour

Each day at sunset, the tours of the Luminous Lagoon at Glistening Waters in Falmouth begin. The boat tour from Glistening waters takes you to an area where Mother Nature has created a beautiful showpiece that is only visible after dusk. Enjoy a boat ride on the illuminated bay. The water glows a beautiful blue only at nights. This phenomenon is formed from small micro-organism dinoflagellates. These micro-organisms when agitated becomes illuminated. Swimming is the highlight of the tour but if you do not wish to swim, just splash your feet or enjoy the boat ride and prepare to be amazed. Visitors can swim in the light show in the waters created by microscopic organisms that emit a bio-luminescent light. The area is fairly shallow and the visit to the Luminous Lagoon is truly an amazing experience that is well worth the journey.
