I will mainly drive on the flat coast between Trapani and Marsala where there are several panoramic points. I will drive you along the old Punic Road connecting Trapani with Marsala. We will visit the Salt Pan of Trapani and those in the Natural Reserve of Stagnone, close to Marsala. In Marsala, we will visit the Archeological Museum - Baglio Anselmi with the unique relic of a Punic boat from the third century BC and other important aspects of the history of Western Sicily from thousands years ago. Afterwords, we will visit the historical centre of Marsala and the shops where you can find several typical Sicilian wines and food like "frutta marturana", the Sicilian version of marzipan. We can have a light lunch in a farmhouse with vineyard and olive trees like a "baglio" (the classical Western Sicily farmhouse) and winery from the XIXth century in the countryside of Marsala, where we can experience a tour of the place with wine tasting, Marsala wine included.
