Hello my name is Ivonne a Licensed Naturalistic Hiking Guide of Marche Region and National & International Tour Leader. After traveling for many years and living in Australia for eight (working in the Tourism Industry as well as Life-Guard at the pool) I returned to live in Ancona, where I grow up. I love working outdoors, in contact with nature, artworks and people. I am very passionate about my work! I am a happy person, dynamic without being invasive, easily adapt myself to new situations and the needs of the people who I lead. I am also genuinely interested in making your experience unforgettable customizing a tour according to your interests-needs. I am keen to deliver a genuine Italian experience: History, Nature & Culture, and if you wish food and wine can be also part of it. The transportation is not included on my tour, however, feel free to ask me for a quote in case you need a car and driver for the tour. Why you should choose to be accompanied by a Local Guide? When you visit a new place, you land on an unknown planet, which you would like to discover the most authentic side. A Local Guide will accompany you in this experience wisely, not only telling you about the historical aspects as would any good book, a Local Guide will pick your choices, take you where you will get "surprise", show you places that probably you wouldn't have been able to reach on your own. I studied at the Art School then I worked many years as Graphic Designer until I moved to Australia and started to work in the hospitality field (discover my passion in working with people). I also worked as Life Guard in Australia so I'm trained for CPR. Then in 2012 I've decided to study to get the license as Tour Leader as well as Naturalistic Trekking Guide and since I got them granted I'm working and showing people the land where I'm from, I'm passionate about it. I'm working for the Cruises passages that stop in Ancona as well as Local Tour Operator & local administrations to promote this area. Since 2014 I became an entrepreneur and I also organize my own tour on my Facebook page: excursions throughout the Marche region.

The Furlo Pass is a gorge on the ancient Roman road Via Flaminia in the Marche region of central Italy, where it passes near the Candigliano river, a tributary of the Metauro. The gorge was formed between the Pietralata (889 m) and Paganuccio (976 m) mountains by the river Candigliano, which whooshed in full spate through the district until it was dammed in 1922. The Roman emperor Vespasian had a tunnel built here to facilitate passage on the Via Flaminia at the narrowest point of the gorge (hence the name, from the Latina "forulum", meaning "small hole"). A suggestive trek rich in history and of course with a finale dedicated to the gold of the table the Truffle. At the end of the Tour, we can go to visit a Middle age Romanesque Church: Sant Vincent Church built in the X century.
1. Trekking Furlo Gorge 2. Tunnel built by Romans I century After Christ. 3. San Vincent Church (Romanesque Church X century) 4. Truffle shopping. There 2 options for discovering this place: 1. Trek tour 8 km return - 450 mt difference in height that allows you to reach a beautiful lookout over the Gorge - this kind of trek is considered medium-difficult 2. easy walk next to the river inside the Gorge (5 km return)
