Hello my name is Ivonne a Licensed Naturalistic Hiking Guide of Marche Region and National & International Tour Leader. After traveling for many years and living in Australia for eight (working in the Tourism Industry as well as Life-Guard at the pool) I returned to live in Ancona, where I grow up. I love working outdoors, in contact with nature, artworks and people. I am very passionate about my work! I am a happy person, dynamic without being invasive, easily adapt myself to new situations and the needs of the people who I lead. I studied at the Art School then I worked many years as Graphic Designer until I moved to Australia and started to work in the hospitality field (discover my passion in working with people). I also worked as Life Guard in Australia so I'm trained for CPR. Then in 2012 I've decided to study to get the license as Tour Leader as well as Naturalistic Trekking Guide and since I got them granted I'm working and showing people the land where I'm from, I'm passionate about it. I'm working for the Cruises passages that stop in Ancona as well as Local Tour Operator & local administrations to promote this area. The Tour stars in Ancona Cathedral and continues crossing Riviera del Conero with stops on top of Portonovo bay to then proceed to Sirolo the pearl of the Adriatic. In Sirolo we will take a break for a coffee or lunch on the main square with the stunning view of the Conero Mountain end to the Adriatic sea. After the break, we are on the way to Castelfidardo where the Accordion was born!!! The core of the tour. We start by visiting the Accordion museum and then we will reach one of the most renowned accordion factories. There are many good options to choose from all of them make the good quality of accordion for the world market.
Tourguide Ivonne knows her town - she's born in Ancona. We learnt much about the past and the present of this historic harbour town, went up to the Duomo, further up to the old and new lighthouse, over trough the woods to the northern part of Ancona. Great views. In the afternoon we walked from the bar in Conero National Park to a "belvedere"/sight seeing point from where we had a great view on the coast lines. Fortunately the heavy rain had stopped in the meantime. Thank you Ivonne!

One of the main reasons we travelled to this part of Italy was to see the town Castelfidardo , known for the most renowned accordion makers and players . Ivonne was everything we could have wanted in a tour guide; prompt, professional , knowledgeable and friendly . She catered to our individual needs and never made us feel rushed.She was a wealth of information about this region and we learned so much about the history and culture of her hometown , Ancona . We had a very pleasant time with Ivonne.
We requested a special tour of an accordion factory and the museum in a nearby town and her arrangement of this time was excellent. This was a full day tour and Ivonne went out of her way to make our tour beyond our expectations. We had a great lunch at a local restaurant along the waters edge and she even took us to her favorite wine shop to get a few bottles of wine to take home. We highly recommend Ivonne to anyone wanting a local tour while in this area.
