On this tour, you'll visit one unique architecture, one historical places and delicious cullinary optional places in Semarang. Sam Poo Kong: The oldest Chinese temple in Semarang in the early 15th century, consisting of four temples that exhibit a unique blend of traditional Chinese and Javanese architecture. Old Town: Earlier known as the Oudstad or Old Town in Dutch, it is located near the harbor where 18th-century buildings have been well preserved with many still in use to this day. Plus an optional culinary places or one more place such as Lawang sewu.
Yessica was amazing! She was able to perfectly customize our tour to what we were looking for, which was a local experience. She took many, many pictures and sent them to us as well. She did an incredible job orienting us to Semarang and introducing us to local people, explaining local customs, and giving us a local experience safely! Thank you!
Yessica arranged an excellent itinerary In Semarang City including a great lunch and a very special coffee roaster. She was a delight to be with, very good English, flexible and informative.
Yessica is an absolutely delightful guide. I sent her a list of things to do and see and she weaved them together in a very special day for us. Her English is outstanding and her aim is to please her guests on the tour. When we mentioned we would really like to experience Java coffee, she took us to a local coffee house where we could experience over 50 coffees, but the experience was sitting with locals discussing coffee and American politics of all things. Everyone participated with English speaking locals translating for the non-English speaking and everyone participated. We experienced outstanding food for lunch and snacks and after six hours of exploring Semarang we returned to our ship. For a knowledgeable and personable guide, Yessica is an outstanding choice. I rated 5-stars because 10-stars were not available.
