Mangkunegaran Legacy Trail

Mangkunegaran is one of the former small Kingdom in Central Java, the area covers fifty percent Solo City, and larger area was Karanganyar region which is known because of its sacred mountain Lawu, there are some interesting legacy left by some Kings from this Kingdom, such as forest area at the slope of mount Lawu which was used to hide and arrange war strategy and Tea plantation as a legacy of their fourth King in their Glorious time within 8 hours tour, you will have a thematic experience of walking in KGPAA Mangkunegoro "the first" forest and cycling down hills through the village with some stop for panoramic view to get to tea plantation hills where you will be introduced to how a specialty tea being picked and served them for relaxing tea time.

10. 00 - 11. 00 am : I will pick you up at any hotel or other places within the city of Solo then drive to Sukuh temple for about 1 hour 11. 00 - 12. 00 am : guided tour in Sukuh Temple 1. 00 - 1. 30 pm drive to KGPPA Mangkunegoro "first" forest, then have a snack break 1. 30 - 2. 15 pm : walking through the forest for about 40 minutes 2. 15 - 3. 15 pm : Outdoor lunch at camp site 3. 15 - 3. 30 pm : walk to get to the starting point of down hills bike 3. 30 - 4. 30 pm : downhill cycling to get to tea plantation hill with some stop for panoramic view and local tea home industry 4. 30 - 5. 00 pm : introduction to specialty tea and how to serve them 5. 00 - 5. 30 pm : time for your self to drink specialty tea and enjoying sun set atmosphere at Jimber tea hill 5. 30 - 6. 30 pm : drive back to solo city, I will drop you off at any Address you required within the city of Solo
