The Tapanuli orangutan (Pongo tapanuliensis) is a species of orangutan found in the island of Sumatra in Indonesia. It is one of three known species of orangutan, alongside the Sumatran orangutan, found farther northwest on the island, and the Bornean orangutan. The Tapanuli orangutan was described as a distinct species in 2017 and currently, it is on the critically endangered species list.

Day 1. Pick up from Hotel, some hotel in Medan or at the airport then continue drive to South Tapanuli and stay 1 night in Penyabungan or in Sipirok hotel Day 2 until day 3. Junggle track in South tapanuli forest than you can see the Orangutan Tapanuli and other wildlife like binturong,sun bear leaf monkey ,gibbon and so on Day 4. Check out from forest/hotel then short city tour at Sipirok and go to Medan/transfer out to the airport
