Overview of your Medan tour
Bukit Lawang is a small tourist village on the bank of Bahorok River in North Sumatra province of Indonesia. Situated approximately 86 km northwest of the city of Medan. The Bukit Lawang rehabilitation centre for orangutans was founded in 1973. Its main purpose was to preserve the decreasing number of orangutan population due to hunting, trading and deforestation. The centre closed in 2002 as the place was getting too touristy and unsuitable for animal rehabilitation. Beside we can see semi wild Orangutan also we can make short village tour base on local wisdom culture and daily local activities on this place NOTE: Tour duration is 8 Hours for each Day

DAY 01. Pick you up at the airport and after arriving at Bukit Lawang, check-in at the hotel and then walk around the river of Bukit Lawang and see some villages near by or let say we make this village tour. DAY 02. Trekking to see Orangutans in semi-wild. Wake up early in the morning, have breakfast, and meet with the local ranger guide from Leuser National Park. Then continue for Jungle trekking to see Orangutans semi-wild in the forests around nature conservation Leuser National Park, explore Tubing, and see a bat cave and you can also see varieties of birds, butterflies, siamang (long arm apes), Thomas leaf monkeys, Macaques, Lar gibbon and different kinds of reptiles. Then, the rest of time you are on your own, to swim or take a beautiful walk to a local village and return to the inn for rest in the afternoon. . DAY 03. Back to Medan and small city Tour to see medan maimun palace , the little india town and etc then continue to the airport
