Mani is a large area of the southern Peloponnese surrounded by mountains and sea. Its difficult access and rocky terrain made its inhabitants harsh and isolated from modern civilization. Because of my origins, I often visited Mani as a child. The stories and beliefs that old people were story-telling us, in the local dialect, inside small traditional cafeneia, fascinated and awestruck me. Since 2014, I have returned and driving around the villages, drinking Greek coffee with the old people again, all the childhood memories came alive and turned into historical facts and cross-referenced information. The combination of beautifyl sea views and traditional stone build villages, make this tour an amazing experience. When you return back from this tour, it feels like you have return back to real life, after having read a fairy tail that you will never forget.
