The Real Santorini - Sightseeing Shore Excursion

On this private tour we will discover the astonishing destination that Santorini can be, as we admire its top attractions. Join me in this exclusive journey walking through local villages that present characteristic Cycladic architecture, such as the famous Oia and the medieval village of Pyrgos. I will take you to strategic vintage aesthetic points to take stunning pictures at, and I'll give you the opportunity to travel back in time to the prehistoric era by visiting the archaeological site of Akrotiri, and of course take you back to the present to enjoy some free time relaxing in a mediterranean beach.

-We'll start exploring Santorini by taking a stop in Firostefani to admire the famous Blue Dome Church, which is a true island emblem. -Then we'll visit Oia, the cosmopolitan village with many blue-domes and adorable views, which will take your breath away. -The mediaval village of Pyrgos is our next destination. This village is famous for its well preserved Venetian Castle. -Afterwards, we'll go higher, to the top of the mountain of Prophet Ilias. Feel free and seize the opportunity to admire the panoramic view of the island, the caldera and the neighboring islands. -We'll enrich our historical knowledge by visiting the Akrotiri Archaeological Site which has been characterized as one of the most significant prehistoric settlements of the Aegean. (I won't guide you here). -Nearby, we'll find the unique Red Beach, which features red volcanic rock formations. -Our last stop will be at the famous Black Beach of Perivolos, where we could enjoy lunch or/and wine tasting in this fancy beach bar restaurant.
