My name is Dora, and I am a local host in Santorini with long-standing personal and professional ties to the island. I have spent most of my life connected to Santorini, beginning with childhood summers and continuing through my work in tourism, wineries, and private guiding. Over the years, I have seen the island evolve, which allows me to share not only its highlights, but also the stories, traditions, and everyday life that shape it beyond the postcard views. My background includes hands-on experience in Santorini’s wine industry, participation in grape harvests, and several years working with established tour agencies on the island. This combination has given me a strong understanding of local history, gastronomy, agriculture, and the practical realities of visiting Santorini, especially for guests with limited time. I personally lead my tours and focus on creating well-paced, flexible experiences that feel authentic, informative, and comfortable. I enjoy sharing the island in a calm and engaging way, combining essential landmarks with lesser-known locations, always adapting the day to my guests’ interests and schedule. Whether you are visiting Santorini for the first time or returning to explore it more deeply, my goal is to offer a thoughtful, well-organized experience that reflects the island as it truly is. If visiting Oia and Santorini’s most photographed viewpoints is your top priority, this private 3.5-hour tour is designed especially for you. Ideal and for cruise ship passengers with limited time, the tour focuses on the northern part of Santorini, combining iconic caldera views, short walks, and relaxed exploration. Traveling comfortably, we stop at carefully selected viewpoints in Firostefani and Imerovigli before continuing to Oia, Santorini’s most famous village. Along the way, I share insights into the island’s volcanic history, local life, and how Santorini became the destination it is today. The pace is efficient but unhurried, allowing time for photos, strolling, and shopping without feeling rushed. An optional wine tasting and light meal at a renowned local winery can be added at the end of the tour (not included in the tour price). The itinerary can be adjusted to suit your cruise schedule.
• Firostefani – Stop at a scenic caldera viewpoint with panoramic views over the volcano and Aegean Sea. • Imerovigli – Visit one of Santorini’s most impressive viewpoints, ideal for photographs and short walks along the caldera edge. • Oia – Explore the village’s charming alleys, iconic blue domes, whitewashed houses, boutique shops, and famous viewpoints at a relaxed pace. • Optional stop (upon request) – Visit Sigalas Winery for a wine tasting and local dishes overlooking the vineyards (optional, extra cost)
