We enjoyed a wonderful day in Nafplio and Epidaurus! Our guide Aristoteleia was a delight. She was waiting for us when we arrived in Nafplio and was easy to find. Because she couldn't enter Epidaurus with us, she talked with us on the way filling us in on everything we needed to know regarding the ancient site. Her insight was very helpful as we toured on our own. Upon our return to Nafplio, we enjoyed a great walking tour of the beautiful city, while Telia informed us of the history and many facts about the area. At the end of our tour, Telia recommended a restaurant for lunch and stayed until we were settled and our orders placed. Our lunch was delicious and the prices very reasonable. We appreciated her recommendation. I would highly recommend this tour or any tour with Telia!

When I was a child I had a great fear of visiting the ancient city of Epidaurus. The reason is that Greek children learn at school that Epidaurus is not only an amazing amphitheatre but it used to be a hospital for mental and physical health. The sense of mysticism that we will have the chance to experience, while we are walking through the Tholos/Thymele, the Stoa of Abaton, the Katagogion, e. t. c. , are only some of the buildings that will fascinate us and you will imediately realise that they can be the reason of inspiration of a very atmospheric video game. I thoroughly enjoy sharing with you stories of doctors and patients who spent part of their lives inside that hospital, but at the same time I seek to convey to you the present day lifestyle of the locals of Nafplio. As we walk through it's narrow and traditional alleys, you will understand how the Modern Greeks live and have fun today.

We enjoyed the tour of Epidaurus and Nafplio recently during a cruise stop and it's wonderful. Epidaurus is very different than many of the other archeological sites because it was a for profit hospital. It has some of the common elements like a stadium and amphitheater, but there's also dormitories and the treatment rooms. Nafplio is a wonderful seaside town with great food and shopping of course, but also a mix of architecture and history. We highly recommend this tour. Enjoy!
Aristotelia did a superb job. She was on site ahead if time. She is exceptionally well informed of the ancient history. She was quick to adapt the trip schedule to accommodate the interests of group members. Her car was quite comfortable and roomy. We were all delighted with the tour.
