Our first stop will be the 11th-century Byzantine monastery of Daphni, set amidst a serene pine forest, renowned for its stunning mosaics. We'll continue to Eleusis, one of the most important religious centers of ancient Greece, dedicated to Demeter and Persephone. We'll explore the ruins of the sanctuary where the famous Eleusinian Mysteries took place, and the recently renovated museum. After visiting Eleusis, your tour can be customized with one of the following: a) Honey Tasting & Visit to Beehives b) Stroll in Diomedes Botanical Park OR c) Lunch at Eleusis Harbor.
