Two Bavarian icons in one unforgettable day. After pick-up at your hotel in Füssen, a short drive brings us to Hohenschwangau, the village at the foot of Neuschwanstein Castle. We ride the shuttle bus (when running) up to Marienbrücke for one of the most photographed views in Bavaria, then walk down to the gates for your official guided tour of King Ludwig II's fairy-tale castle, with reserved tickets. Back in the village, we stop for lunch (not included) before a scenic drive through the Alps to Lake Eibsee. From here, the record-breaking cable car takes you straight to the summit of the Zugspitze, Germany's highest mountain at 2,962 m (9,718 ft). Enjoy 360-degree views over hundreds of Alpine peaks in four countries, with time to relax and take photos, before we ride back down and drive you back to your hotel in Füssen.
