Nice, Monaco-Monte-Carlo, Eze, a great classic of the Côte d'Azur in one day facing the Mediterranean. A pure delight, I let you imagine. . . You will see to begin with the medieval old town of Nice very close to the seaside, the heart is the "cours Saleya" and its flower market and the large "place Massena" and its fountain and the statue of Appolo in the middle I have lived in this city for twenty years I know it very well and I am sure you will like it! Monaco, the 2nd smallest country in the world, very beautiful old town and the Prince's castle and the sublime cathedral. Using the route of the "F1 Grand Prix", a photo stop in Monte-Carlo and the best for last: Eze village (the second most visited place on the French Riviera). Medieval from the Middle Ages, don't miss this splendid exotic garden, the highlight of this dream place. Do not hesitate to come with me you will not be disappointed with the trip!
My clients did a full day tour with Philippe from a VV cruise. They were a multi-generational family who wanted to see it all. Phillip met them at the port and navigated them to Nice, Monaco and giving them time to explore all the areas they were interested in. The grandmother had a wonderful time seeing all the sites and sharing recipes with Phillippe. He made their day not just a tour but an experience they will cherish.
What an enjoyable day we had with Phillipe! We did this as a shore excursion from Cannes. Phillipe was a great guide and took us to Cannes, Monaco/Monte Carlo, Eze and Nice. The drive was spectacular in between the towns, and we know we were able to see amazing views from roads that other tours do not take. Phillipe had a wonderfully timed itinerary for us and we were able to maximize our port time. He was also very mindful of the time we needed to be back on board the ship. If we are in the area again, we hope to use Phillipe for another amazing tour. Lastly, do the climb to the top in Eze, including the exotic garden. It looks hard, but not bad at all and the views are AMAZING!!
Philippe was a wonderful tour guide! After a delay getting into port, Philippe worked with us to modify our itinerary to prioritize sites that were important to us. He is knowledgeable about the region and answered our all our questions. Philippe was efficient and navigated us through the more populated areas and provided recommendations along the way. I highly recommend Philippe and would book with him again!
Phillippe was awesome. He was waiting for us when we got off the ship. He drove us to Nice, Monoco, we drove the road the the Monte Carlo car race was on, we even got a small drive thru of Monte Carlo He was funny, entertaining and we had a wonderful time. The challenge he had was our time in port off our cruise ship was very short but he still got us back in plenty of time. There was 16 in our party and he accomodated all of us. I would use him again on another tour if I ever get back to France.
- Let's start to drive along the legendary "Promenade des Anglais" to the heart of the old town of Nice at the flower market, its narrow medieval streets lined with cafes, restaurants and souvenir shop located in front of the sea and enjoy there a good hour. - Join the village "La Turbie" on the high corniche road above Monaco to admire the exceptional view that will take us to Monaco. - Visit the old town, and the exterior of the prince's palace, the great cathedral and the picturesque Monegasque streets before resuming the route of the formula 1 circuit and reaching the Casino de Monte square -Carlo for a photo stop. - Eze village: the last spot but not the least, perhaps the most beautiful place you will see of the day, perched 450 meters from sea level, its medieval medieval streets lined with typical shops of the region will offer you at each corner "postcard" photos before arriving at the magnificent exotic garden.
