My passion for guiding began long before I ever drove a traveller through the Riviera. I grew up watching my mother work as a multilingual guide at Fragonard, welcoming visitors from all over the world. Languages, stories, curiosity, they were simply part of our everyday life. Every summer, my family returned to our roots in Italy. Those memories, the sound of Italy, the food, the warmth and the slower rhythm of life, shaped my love for discovering new cultures. It also taught me something important: when you feel at home somewhere, you love to share it. Five years ago, I followed that path and became a driver-guide. Today, I introduce travellers to the hidden side of the Riviera: secret viewpoints in the mountains, quiet coastal villages and the authentic Italian towns of Ventimiglia, Dolceacqua, Bordighera and Sanremo. These are places I know by heart, and I love seeing the amazement on my guests’ faces when they discover them. Before guiding, I worked as a retail manager with my wife, meeting visitors from all over the world every day, and as passionate travellers ourselves, especially to the United States, we’ve always believed that sharing cultures brings people together. Guiding allows me to do exactly that. Every tour is an exchange, a story, a moment shared, and that’s what makes this job so meaningful to me.

Would you like to explore a medieval village perched on a hilltop with striking views over the French Riviera coastline, half owned by 5 stars hotels and learn more about perfume makers? What about taking a full lap around the world famous Formula One Grand Prix circuit, or seeing one of the world's well-known casino in Monte-Carlo? On this tour, we would be doing all of that, in addition to visiting the church where Grace Kelly got married to Prince Rainier III of Monaco, as well as their resting place. (Please note: the Cathedral might be closed due to a ceremony on the day of your tour). And I almost forgot... we'd also explore the old town of Nice and its oldest Provençal market and discover its local gastronomy. Do I need to say more?
Your Villefranche Sur Mer tour itinerary
-After picking you up, we'll drive to a panoramic viewpoint to marvel at the coast of Nice & Cap Ferrat. -Next, we'll arrive to Nice and walk around its historical area, covering: ·The Massena main square & its fountain ·Sainte Reparate Cathedral of Nice ·Opera of Nice ·Provençal Fresh Market -After passing by a couple of local culinary venues & seeing confit fruit makers, we'll depart to Monaco. -On arrival, we'll explore the old town, walking by the Oceanographic Museum & the Cathedral where Princess Grace Kelly is buried. -We'll then reach the Prince's Palace square at 11:55 am to witness the Changing of the Guard. -Later, we'll drive the Formula One circuit towards Monte Carlo Casino Square, where the Hotel de Paris is located, surrounded by designer boutiques. -We'll then arrive to Eze where we'd need to climb a very tall set of stairs browsing through local boutiques to reach its castle top gardens & visit the Fragonard perfume factory.
