I have covered many parts of the world but each time the plane flies over the mediterranean sea to land at the Nice airport, I feel I am so lucky to live in a real garden of Eden. I am graduate in literature from Nice University and after a long career in different airline companies, I decided to become a certified national Guide ten years ago to share with you my passion for this territory and guess what? Our family of 4 had a fantastic full day tour of the French Riviera with Robert as our guide! He was very knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. We explored the Old Town area of Nice, the beautiful hilltop village of Eze and iconic Monaco. The tour was a perfect blend of learning about the history of each area as well as letting us explore at our own pace. His love for his hometown is evident and we left the tour with a real appreciation for this area of France. We highly recommend Robert as your local guide!
Robert was very flexible in creating two wonderful days for me, a day to the east of Nice and one to the west. He took note of what interested me and allowed me to extend time as necessary. On the second day, I included three new friends on the tour and he was sensitive to everyone's interests and needs. I'd recommend him without reservation. My trip was terrific and I'm grateful for his pre-tour help and knowledgeable guiding. I'd happily spend more time in his care.
My suggestion is a lovely and full of diversity itinary to Nice first, with a panoramic tour of the city followed by a stop in the old part for a walking tour, a scenic drive along the middle and high corniche roads to discover Eze hilltop village and La Turbie point of view before arriving in Monaco to visit both the old town and Monte Carlo. We will return to the pier along the lower corniche road. Be sure you will have enough time to enjoy fully each place and experience our delicious mediterranean cuisine. If you wish to see more we can include Saint Paul de Vence in the itinary.
