Overview of your Guayaquil tour

My favorite moment in this trip is to be able to make our own chocolate bars!! Learn the lifestyle and traditions of the "Cultura montubia" of the coastal region of Ecuador firsthand. Enjoy the history of cocoa beans and traditional and modern processes used to obtain the best chocolate (Ecuador is one of the leading producers of high quality cocoa in the world). This tour includes a visit to a cocoa plantation to learn about this process. From: seed - plants - through graft - harvesting - drying in the sun - roasting - until obtaining the cocoa paste. I recommend starting with the chocolate experience, then having lunch and then returning to Guayaquil for a City Tour.

Your Guayaquil tour itinerary

Pick-up at hotel at appointed time (normally 09:00 a. m. ) Travel through the countryside 25 miles road trip. Halfway fruit market stop. And then arrival at the farm. Cacao experience. Lunch. Return to Guayaquil for City Tour. On the way there are many birdwatching possibilities and according to the group's interest we will stop briefly to watch/take pictures. ** If your group is larger than 4 participants please ask for a quotation and I'll provide a larger vehicle.
