Hi my name is Mario. I am one of those tourguides that didn't start as a tourguide but moved to the profession because of passion! I use to belong to the corporate world, working in finance as my Unviersity degree said I should! However, when I was 24 I decided to do what I really loved in life and that was guiding. I took 4 months off to travel and see how people guide and booking tours around the world, and I got the idea of how I wanted to guide. I decided that I was going to be always myself, honest and transparent. I don't want people to feel that they are with a tourguide but with a friend they came to visit in Ecuador! I came back, started the training to be a tourguide and here I am! I also lived in the United States for couple of months when I was 21 to become fluent in the language, so that won't be barrier for us! Morning in Cocoa farm and afternoon in Guayaquil
Overview of your Guayaquil tour
This tour would be the best option for people who only have one day in the city. We get to visit the countryside in the morning, learn all about the Cocoa since it's a seed until it becomes chocolate. After that we go back to the city to visit the main highlights of it. So in this tour you get to see the countryside and the city on the same day.
Your Guayaquil tour itinerary
We leave from the hotel to the Cocoa farm. We get there and start the walking tour through the plantations. After that we start making our own chocolate. From there if you book lunch at the farm we have lunch there, otherwise we come back to the city for lunch. After that, we do a short city tour in which we get to visit the most important highlights of the City: the Iguana Park, Malecon 2000 and Las Penas.
