Let me take you on a pleasant romantic walk through one of the most picturesque and most romantic little towns in the world. . . A late medieval town with strong Venetian influence particularly in architecture and everyday life: a place with long fishing tradition, a place which artists, particularly painters, have chosen for life and artistic impressions. . . Tour includes a zigzag walkthrough oldtown streets including Grisia, street of artists once upon a time and some still left, visit St. Eufemia Church and we will end in fishing port with some batana boats present, even though EU legislation has taken away our bigger ships :(. Batana is a symbol of fishing tradition in Rovinj. Please allow me to introduce you this unique medieval Venetian fisherman's hilltown with a lot of charm and romance. . . Let's get lost in Rovigno d'Istria. . . :)
Really great private walking tour with Matijas. We learned all about the history of Rovinj, toured the cathedral, and streets. It was a wonderful way to start our experience in Rovinj. Matijas was great and would recommend to anyone!
Che bella giornata! We had a wonderful time with our guide, Matt. He showed us hidden gems of Rovigno. One can really feel his love for the city. We especially loved the time we spent in St. Euphemia's Church. He told us about her legend. We highly recommend a tour with Matt. He knows so much and makes learning fun.
Matt was a great guide - very knowledgeable and friendly. Enjoyed both wineries/olive oil tastings, learned a lot.
Very enjoyable walk through Rovinj. There were 8 older women and Matthew took it slow and easy! Rovinj is a beautiful small town and we waled along the cobblestones while Matthew reviwed the history of the town and explained the various world circumstance affecting the residents. A long climb to the church, but such a beautiful cathedral, and great view. Rovinj is very charming and a great place for restaurants and shopping!
