Guided Tour of Pula and Rovinj, car tour with me as driver-guide. Possibilities are limitless. . . Tour includes walking tours of both Rovinj and Pula. Modern Istria, as well as Croatia, is going through a quite turbulent and interesting modern period and I do know a lot about it, of course among many other things. Besides that, heritage is an important part of everyday life and I will offer you visits to local wineries, olive oil farms, local food restaurants. As I mentioned above, there are many options and I will be more than glad to take you on a discovery through my homeland. . .

We had a 4 person customized tour with Matt. He was a terrific guide that I would strongly recommend to anyone traveling in this area of Croatia. We had a walking tour of Pula, including the amphitheater, and Rovinj. Along the way we had a stop for a wine tasting at Meneghetti winery. This was a great day. Matt is a very good guide. He is passionate about the history of the area and has enormous amounts of knowledge to share with his guests. He was on time and very organized. He is a nice person and it was easy to spend the day with him. All of his suggestions were perfect, including one of the best meals we had on our trip at a restaurant he recommended on our way.

What a great day we had with Matt. He is so extremely knowledgeable in the Rovinj and Pula area. He took us into areas of the cities and told us stories that only someone who had lived there before would know. I loved walking through the old town area in Rovinj and visiting the colosseum in Pula and hearing all the history of it. He also walked us through a very small village between Rovinj and Pula and had lunch there. Perfect day!!!

Matt did an outstanding job of showing us Pula and his hometown of Rovinj. We marveled at the amount of Roman ruins and beautiful mosaic floor that was discovered in Pula—many guides do not show this. He even took the time to stop at the market for us on the way home!
