Tortuguero Private Tour

The nature we saw was out of this world and included Sloths, Monkeys, all manner of birdlife & so much more. We the had an excellent, friendly & filling lunch of local fare with some of the best coffee I've ever tasted, and had the small, family run premises exclusively. Priscilla then took us for a botanical tour Her expertise and enthusiasm as a biologist came through every word. This was one of those very special days that we will remember and cherish for a lifetime. The one downside was that we spent too much money in local shops meaning we were very limited in the tips we could give. Her team deserved more than we gave

Our group can't say enough good things about Priscilla! There were 6 of us. We selected a customized tour and spent about 7 hours with her. We were extremely impressed with her knowledge and professionalism and her English was perfect! It sounds like it would be fun to go back in the future and take a cooking class with her and or visit her family's new restaurant that will be opening in the near future. She was very punctual in picking us up from the ship and had us back in time for the "all aboard." We highly recommend Priscella.

Priscilla is a fantastic guide and host. She went over and beyond both prior to the tour and during the tour to ensure my clients and I had a great experience. She has in-depth knowledge as a certified guide but also has a great way of presenting it and interacting with guests. Priscilla made unique arrangements at several stops along the way that could only be done with intimate local knowledge of the place and people. I highly recommend Priscilla as a guide.

Priscilla was amazing! She made us feel comfortable, prepared, and safe as we travelled with her to Tortuguero, and showed us things as only a real local would be able to. She is clearly dedicated to making sure that people learn things about Costa Rica, ecology (and maybe even ourselves) while traveling with her. Would 100% recommend her, in particular for an experience in Tortuguero where her family has lived for generations. Priscilla gave us more than we expected on this trip.
