Good morning from Bulgaria! My name is Momchil and I am a private guide based in Ruse. Since 2004 I have been showing English speaking guests round beautiful Bulgaria. What really motivates me in my job is that I enjoy to travel and share the good moments! My understanding is that the changes in the world around us are transforming our views towards leisure and free time. We do not simply consume our trips, but we enjoy being involved. It feels good to give support to local communities, share sustainable ideas, see authentic crafts or protect nature. Most of my tours are in the region of Ruse. My native city is a lively place and in close proximity there are three exciting UNESCO sights. I also offer round trips in the country. Our focus lies on meeting local people and genuine traditions. We will taste great food and wines, visit cultural and sacred places, explore nature and have fun! I am flexible to customize all my tours according to your demand and special interests! Overview of your Ruse tour

We start in Ruse with a panoramic tour of the city. Scenic drive for an hour and a half will bring us to Veliko Tarnovo - the medieval capital of the second Bulgarian Kingdom. We will visit the castle, where the Bulgarian Kings and aristocracy once lived. Between 12th and 14th century the Bulgarian Kingdom bordered four seas and was an Empire with a great impact on the whole then existing Europe. Visit to Samovodska - the oldest merchant street in the town, where in front of your eyes masters pursue their crafts according to old traditions. Instead of ordinary souvenir places, today we choose and buy directly from the craftsmen. After lunch in the picturesque Veliko Tarnovo, we drive to the nearby village of Arbanassi. Here we will visit a house-museum and see how the very rich Bulgarians lived three hundred years ago. We will also not miss "The Nativity" church, with its 2000 biblical frescoes. Join me on a tour over the places that may be small in size but are definitely huge in character and heritage!

Monchil Stoyanov was lovely we got to see much of the countryside and the never ending sunflowers. Monchil's English was a little challenging but we got along fine. Took us to a fabulous restaurant where we got to geta taste of the local favorites if Vidin.

Momchil was a lovely guide who is knowledgeable about his country and eager to share the information with us. He did a great job of guiding us to Arbanassi and Vekiko Tarnovo and was a good driver as well. He was on time and pleasant to be with. I highly recommend him.
