Good morning from Bulgaria! My name is Momchil and I am a private guide based in Ruse. Since 2004 I have been showing English speaking guests round beautiful Bulgaria. What really motivates me in my job is that I enjoy to travel and share the good moments! My understanding is that the changes in the world around us are transforming our views towards leisure and free time. We do not simply consume our trips, but we enjoy being involved. It feels good to give support to local communities, share sustainable ideas, see authentic crafts or protect nature. Most of my tours are in the region of Ruse. My native city is a lively place and in close proximity there are three exciting UNESCO sights. I also offer round trips in the country. Our focus lies on meeting local people and genuine traditions. We will taste great food and wines, visit cultural and sacred places, explore nature and have fun! I am flexible to customize all my tours according to your demand and special interests! We had a very enjoyable tour with Momchil. He worked with us to modify the tour when we learned the evening before the tour that our river cruise boat was moving during the day to a new docking location. The cave church we climbed to was gorgeous. He provided much interesting information about Bulgarian history, the town of Ruse, and the cave churches.

This was a custom tour of northern Bulgaria that demonstrated Momchil's resourcefulness, flexibility and superb skills as a tour planner and guide. Monchil Stoyanov was lovely we got to see much of the countryside and the never ending sunflowers. Monchil's English was a little challenging but we got along fine. Took us to a fabulous restaurant where we got to geta taste of the local favorites if Vidin.
