Day 1: We begin our journey to Koprivshtitsa, a historical town and architectural reserve, about 2 hours away. We'll visit two 19th-century houses and possibly the local 1817 church. After lunch at a traditional restaurant, we'll head to Starosel to explore the largest Thracian sanctuary and tomb, followed by a wine tasting at the local winery. We’ll then drive to Plovdiv for the night. Day 2: We start in Plovdiv with a walk through the Old Town’s cobbled streets, visiting the Ethnographic Museum and the Ancient Roman Theatre. After some free time for lunch, we’ll head to the Bachkovo Monastery, the second-largest Orthodox monastery in Bulgaria, founded in 1083. We’ll then drive to Sofia, arriving by 6:15 PM.
Day 1: 9 am - Meeting at hotel lobby, check-out and drive to Koprivshtitza 11 am - arrival at Koprivshtitza and start of sightseeing walk 1 pm - lunch break at local traditional restaurant 2 pm - start driving to Starosel Thracian Cult complex via Strelcha 4 pm - winetasting of 5 premium wines 5.30 pm - drive to Plovdiv. Check-in at the hotel Day 2: 9 am - start walking tour of Plovdiv 12 pm time at leisure for lunch 1.30 pm - drive to Bachkovo monastery direction 2 pm - stop at Assen's fortress 2.45 pm - drive to Bachkovo monastery 3 pm - visit the monastery 4.15 pm - drive to Sofia ETA in Sofia - 6.15 - 6.30 pm
