Hello and welcome to beautiful Itacaré! My name is Leandro and I have been working in the field of tourism since university graduation in 2001. I decided to become a tour guide because I love surfing, reading, photography, traveling and especially appreciating nature. I worked at an eco resort in Itacaré, Bahia for 9 years. At this hotel I was certified to teach stretching exercises, yoga, and give surfing lessons. Two years ago, after acquiring that experience, I started working on my own in Itacaré. My passion is to share this wonderful environment with visitors to this region of Brazil. Itacaré is a locale surrounded by beautiful beaches, cacau culture, waterfalls and magnificent Brazilian rain forest (Mata Atlantica). I am happy to share the experience of this wonderful life so close to nature. Everyone is welcome to hike, delight in boat trips, and refresh in a waterfall, lull on a beach, or just breathe the pure sweet air of Mata Atlantica rainforest. It's possible to experience a sweet day walking among the trees and taste delicious natural chocolate from a local fazenda as well. My hobby is to explore this amazing coast and share this with travelers. We can have a relaxing day on the beach or hike through forest trails. I offer private tours in my Chevrolet truck which has space for fishing equipment, surfboards or anything else you wish to bring (for up to 4 people). When I prepare a tour, I always keep my customers' interests in mind. I can't wait to meet you and be your guide in this beautiful paradise! - Bachelor in tourism (Uberaba University UNIUBE) - Certified Randolph school of English - Edinburgh Scotland - Certified Basil Paterson school of English - Edinburgh Scotland - Certified fitness Brasil Bahia conscience stretching - Certified fitness Brasil Bahia Aqua premium hydro

Fazenda Vila Rosa, 28 kilometers from Itacaré , is located in Taboquinhas, a municipality of Itacaré. Famous for its cacao plantations, Taboquinhas preserves a huge area of Mata Atlantica (Atlantic rain forest). Like Itacaré, the village is watered by Bahia's second longest river, Rio de Contas whose origin is Chapada Diamantina and flows 618 kilometers to the sea in Itacaré. The cacao farm, Vila Rosa preserves a beautifully restored colonial house with natural pools for bathing. Vila Rosa offers a walk through the cacao trees and a look at the process of chocolate production. The fazenda has a chocolate shop and a restaurant to enjoy lunch.
The tour itinerary will be the following: - Picking up at the hotel, Port or airport - Taking the way to the cocoa farm - Spend the day there and - Returning to the hotel Please let me know if you prefer to customize this tour.
