Overview of your El Calafate tour
Pick up from Hotel located in El Calafate or from Calafate airport. Riding all the time through paved routes. Riding is about 3 hours long. During the trip we travel 3 different routes one of the most important is mythic Route 40. The scenery show us the changes made by the ice age, we can see Argentino Lake, Santa Cruz River, La Leona River, Viedma Lake and De las Vuelta River. The landscape on the way is an unforgetdable experiencie just because of nature is pristine El Chalten is just a small town with 3000 inhabitants. and there are several trails to walk around easy or media difficulty. do you want to explore this remote natural place?

Viviana was excellent. She arrived at the hotel ahead of time and made sure we were ready for the road trip. She had sent a text the night before so that we would be prepared for the weather conditions. She was very informative and spoke both English and Spanish fluently. Quite familiar with the local eateries and places to see. The weather didn't permit us seeing Mt. Fitz Roy so she tried making up for it by taking us to other places. It was a great experience. I hope to continue our friendship.

We highly recommend Viviana as a guide. She provided a full day tour to El Chalten. It was wonderful, due to Vivian's experience and knowledge. She was greeted warmly by other guides we encountered. Her knowledge is thorough: she knew the history, people, animals, birds, plants, trees, rocks and mountains. Her experience is excellent: she planned hikes that were perfect for our capabilities. She rearranged lunch to avoid a large tour of people. Her personality is outgoing, warm, fun, engaging.

During this trip you will see 2 glacials lakes And 3 Rivers. Santa Cruz river, La leona River And De las vueltas River. There aré 2 options for this trip: 1) Round trip on the same : viewpoint Fitz Roy mountain From Laguna Capri trekking 8 kms in trail with stones and Up to the lagoon 700 mts A. S. L. And This trip has included lunch boxes, if you dont want to trekk in steppy aereas we do another trails 2)Chorrillo del Salto 400 mts in plane trails. Mirador de los condores 1 km up to mountains to enjoy a panorama of Chalten and surroundings mountains including lunch in a restaurant in Chalten.
