After a 1-hour approach transfer along gravel route number 15, looking back at the old Patagonia of the ranches and contemplating the steppe environment of the Lake Argentino basin, we will arrive at the southern area of Los Glaciares Nationa Park, entering through the Lago Roca access. Nearby to the guardranger's house, we stop at the heading point of the trail to begin one of the most panoramic trekking circuits in the area. Along the route there are stunning views of the Perito Moreno glacier and on clear days, reaching the summit, we can be dazzled by contemplating the Torres del Paine, the Frías glacier and Mount Fitz Roy.

We are going to pick up you at your hotel in El Calafate to drive 60 km on a gravel route to get the Lago Roca access of Los Glaciares National Park. Although the length of the hiking route is only 5 km, we even consider the activity strongly demanding, because the elevation gain is 1000 meters. So, this trekking is recommended for passengers fitness condition and sporting aptitude. After hike, transfer will be waiting to drive back to your hotel in El Calafate.
