I am a professional, licenced tour guide authorised by Ministry of Tourism. I have been in tourism industry for over 20 years and I still love it. I love meeting new people from different cultures. I like giving and getting information, I like interaction. Besides being a licenced tour guide, I am also a certified interpreter. I studied English Language and Literature at university. I am married and I have two little kids.

My tours are in and around the city of Trabzon, the transportation is via brand new vans with full tourism insurances and certifications (either a Wolskvagen Caravelle of a Mercedes Vito according to the need of number of seats. Or if the tour is only with one or two visitors, we can hire a car). If the visitor requests only a city center tour and wants to interact with local people, then we can arrange a walking tour and public transportation.

City of Trabzon has a lot to offer. During my tours, visitors will be able to explore a rich history from eary Christianity, Islam, Byzantine, Persians, Ottoman Era, modern Turkey and different cultures. We will visit monastries, old mosques, museums and lively streets. My city is peaceful, far away from problems. Local people are really tourist friendly. Last but not least, Trabzon and its neighbourhood offers really tasty dishes that tourists love to try.

I have some fixed programs of my tours but also we can arrange tailor based tours by the visitors' needs and time. I offer and guarantee you that we together will decide about every single detail in your travel plan and you can feel comfortable to ask me anything about it.

This 8-hour tour will guide you in and around the city of Trabzon, getting to know the traditional tourist places as well as those spots that the locals enjoy. You'll be introduced to a large number of curiosities in a relaxed atmosphere, where you have the necessary time to enjoy this incredible city.

Trabzon Guided Full Day Tour

This tour offers the most popular tourist attractions in Trabzon in one day. We start our tour early in the morning and head to Sumela Monastery which is about 40kms from the city center. In and around the monastery you will enjoy the nature and rich history.
Then we will go back to the city to visit the magnificent Trabzon Hagia Sophia. After Hagia Sophia we'll have lunch in the small town called Akçaabat to have their famous meatballs (highly recommended) or fish or something else considering your dietary needs. After this nice lunch break we'll go to Atatürk Pavillion to learn about more about the history and enjoy some nice scenery.
And finally we will drive in the city center and go up to the city hill for a final view to Trabzon and have Turkish tea.
The tour will end at about 5 pm.
