Hi, I'm English and Swiss and have been living in Montreux for 20 years. I love all that the local area has to offer and really enjoy walking, getting off the beaten path and discovering the beautiful surroundings as well as the impressive buildings and architectural styles we have around here. I run a local walking group and am used to leading small groups of people on half or one-day hikes. I'm neither a historian nor an architect but I'm interested in the history and architecture of the town of Montreux and the neighboring villages. It's surprising what you can see when you raise your eyes instead of looking at shop windows. On my tours, you'll see some unexpected buildings or hike in a hidden gorge and of course, we'll take in the fabulous views over Lake Geneva and the Alps.
