Hi, I’m Daniel — a licensed local guide and professional tour leader, born and raised in the Algarve, Portugal. This is not just where I work — it’s where I grew up. I was born in a small village near Lagos and spent my childhood exploring this region freely: historic towns, coastal trails, hidden beaches and local life. Later, I studied Tourism at the University of the Algarve in Faro, lived abroad in places like Amsterdam, Marrakech and Warsaw, and eventually chose to return home. The Algarve has always been my anchor. For over 10 years, I’ve been guiding travelers — especially American guests — through Southern Portugal, offering private, relaxed and meaningful experiences focused on history, culture, food, wine and landscapes. I believe a great tour is not about rushing from stop to stop, but about understanding a place and feeling connected to it.
