Hello everyone my name is Andreia, I am 42 years old, born and raised in Douro Valley. I love to communicate and my dream and passion has always been to work as a tour guide in my beautiful Region Douro Valley. I got admitted in the Portuguese university Utad to study Tourism but didn't finished my degree because I had the chance during that time to go work in Switzerland, a country in which I lived and worked for 16 years. There I developed my german language skills and I was constantly in contact with many nationalities. I also speak Portuguese and English. In the last 2 years I've been working as a private guide in Douro Valley. I love getting to know people from another countries, new cultures and provide them with authentic experiences. My goal is really to show you the best from Douro Valley - good food, good wine, breathtaking landscapes and the most important warming and genuine people that love to have you as guests. We had a fantastic day with Andreia and her husband Valdemar. They were both very enthusiastic and tried very hard to make sure that every part of our tour was special. She, and her wonderful husband driver, are so kind and caring. We had a lovely visit to a small local winery where they still crush grapes by foot in concert containers.
