I have over 15 years of experience in the sustainable tourism and community development sector. For the past 10 years I've been leading private group tours not only in my country but throughout the Central American and Southern Mexican region for different international travel companies. I'd never thought that guiding would become such a rewarding experience. Meeting so many people from different corners of the world, learning their stories and travel experiences, and in return, teach the rich cultural and natural heritage of my country and others, is what I enjoy the most about being a tour guide. I have a small adventure travel company called "Landscapes Tours' that was born in 2020 during pandemic times to promote meaningfull- wellness hikes and treks around the country. I also run a small enterprise that uses traditional textiles handmade by Mayan artisans from La Antigua. Through this endeavor I seek to support local craftsmanship, preserve ancient artforms and provide sustainable job opportunities for women.
