Dani was outstanding! She is a great guide and was both highly responsive and communicative. She found out what my interests were and then tailored a tour to best meet those interests. I highly recommend Dani and would book with her again.

Whether you're chasing cultural highs or pursuing nature's pleasure, treading lightly or veering off the beaten path, there's a good chance you'll find what you are looking for here. Guatemala is a small country offering so much. So much that you will need to come back! Hola amigos! My name is Daniela, an entrepreneur and a professional, passionate local guide from Guatemala. I have over 15 years of experience in the sustainable tourism and community development sector. For the past 10 years I've been leading private group tours not only in my country but throughout the Central American and Southern Mexican region for different international travel companies. I'd never thought that guiding would become such a rewarding experience. Meeting so many people from different corners of the world, learning their stories and travel experiences, and in return, teach the rich cultural and natural heritage of my country and others, is what I enjoy the most about being a tour guide. I have a small adventure travel company called "Landscapes Tours' that was born in 2020 during pandemic times to promote meaningfull- wellness hikes and treks around the country. I also run a small enterprise that uses traditional textiles handmade by Mayan artisans from La Antigua. Through this endeavor I seek to support local craftsmanship, preserve ancient artforms and provide sustainable job opportunities for women. If you like to venture the local way, visit traditional towns, support community-based projects and get involved in different activities, then my tours are the perfect fit for you! All tours are private and personalized. This means I can tailor-make any itinerary based upon your personal needs and interests. I'll be glad to provide you with authentic travel experiences and genuine intercultural exchanges to better understand the Maya culture and its people. Nestled in a beautiful valley surrounded by hills and 3 massive volcanoes, La Antigua is a charming colonial town that will make you feel time stopped some 300 years ago. It was once the capital of Guatemala before several earthquakes rocked the city in the 16th century, destroying buildings and leaving the city in ruins. From its remarkable architecture, strolling through its cobblestone streets and enjoying its beautiful surroundings, you will learn about Guatemala's history during colonial times. Antigua is home to the largest Easter celebration in the world in which the Crucifix and the Resurrection of Jesus are commemorated. The procession was brought over by Spanish missionaries in the 16th Century. The entire city takes part in the event, accompanied by thousands of travelers coming to experience the energy of Holy Week. If you come around easter time, you can't miss this event! This tour is for those already in Antigua. If your location is different, please request a customized tour

Daniela was fantastic - super communicative, amazing english, took us to such great places. Truly 10/10
Daniela is a fantastic guide. We learned so much about Antigua and Guatemala. Her English is excellent and she really took special care of our family during the walking tour. I very much recommend taking this tour!
I was seeking a private tour of Antigua in Spanish to improve my language skills while learning about the city, and fortunately came across Daniela's profile (note: she is fully bilingual in Spanish and English so if you need a tour in English she's got you covered!) I spent a wonderful morning exploring Antigua from her knowledgeable perspective, learning about its history, visiting noteworthy landmarks, and popping into lovely shops, including one selling traditional sweets. Since the tour was private, I was able to set the pace and linger/rest as needed. Daniela is warm, engaging, and well-traveled, so spending several hours with her was an absolute pleasure. She even took the time afterward to send me links to recommended restaurants in Antigua and several women’s weaving cooperatives at Lake Atitlan, my next destination. Needless to say, I can highly recommend a tour with Daniela!
Very good tour, as described in the summary. Daniela was very enthusiastic and proud of Antigua as well as her country. In addition to the traditional sites normally seen on a tour like this, she recommended places to eat and things to see later. This was very much appreciated.
This tour last 3 hours. 9am- Meet at your hotel or any other meeting point you wish. We'll visit and learn about Antigua's most emblematic churches, monuments and buildings; we'll head to the Central Park highlights, jade stores, coffee shops, and finally visit the handcraft market for some souvenir shopping.
