Whether you're chasing cultural highs or pursuing nature's pleasure, treading lightly or veering off the beaten path, there's a good chance you'll find what you are looking for here. Guatemala is a small country offering so much. So much that you will need to come back! Hola amigos! My name is Daniela, an entrepreneur and a professional, passionate local guide from Guatemala. I have over 15 years of experience in the sustainable tourism and community development sector. For the past 10 years I've been leading private group tours not only in my country but throughout the Central American and Southern Mexican region for different international travel companies. I'd never thought that guiding would become such a rewarding experience. Meeting so many people from different corners of the world, learning their stories and travel experiences, and in return, teach the rich cultural and natural heritage of my country and others, is what I enjoy the most about being a tour guide. I have a small adventure travel company called "Landscapes Tours' that was born in 2020 during pandemic times to promote meaningfull- wellness hikes and treks around the country. I also run a small enterprise that uses traditional textiles handmade by Mayan artisans from La Antigua. Through this endeavor I seek to support local craftsmanship, preserve ancient artforms and provide sustainable job opportunities for women. If you like to venture the local way, visit traditional towns, support community-based projects and get involved in different activities, then my tours are the perfect fit for you! All tours are private and personalized. This means I can tailor-make any itinerary based upon your personal needs and interests. I'll be glad to provide you with authentic travel experiences and genuine intercultural exchanges to better understand the Maya culture and its people. Overview of your Antigua tour

Nestled in a beautiful valley surrounded by hills and 3 massive volcanoes, La Antigua is a charming colonial town that will make you feel time stopped some 300 years ago. It was once the capital of Guatemala before several earthquakes rocked the city in the 16th century, destroying buildings and leaving the city in ruins. From its remarkable architecture, strolling through its cobblestone streets and enjoying its beautiful surroundings, you will learn about Guatemala's history during colonial times. Antigua is home to the largest Easter celebration in the world in which the Crucifix and the Resurrection of Jesus are commemorated. The procession was brought over by Spanish missionaries in the 16th Century. The entire city takes part in the event, accompanied by thousands of travelers coming to experience the energy of Holy Week. If you come around easter time, you can't miss this event! This tour is for those arriving on a cruise ship at Puerto Quetzal. 4 persons maximum.

We had a wonderful tour with Daniela. We went to the San Miguel Escobar coffee plantation and they were both wonderful and welcoming. The tour was very informative as to the process and we agree as they define it it was an experience. We then went to visit the master weaver, Lidia, where she showed us a weaving demonstration and then we had the most delicious lunch at her house. A tour included some lengthy drives through the country and through small towns. Daniela was very informative about all the sites we saw. She's incredibly knowledgeable. Our tour was exceptional and if I was ever in Guatemala again I would have no hesitation about taking another tour with Daniela.

Daniela was a superb guide, she arranged a customized tour that included a private visit to a master weaver followed by a delicious lunch in a local bistro in Antigua. She was very knowledgeable with excellent English, she and our driver were extremely helpful, arranging access for my wheelchair. My husband and I can’t say enough to recommend her.

Daniela is an exceptional tour guide whom I highly recommend. She is charming, well-educated, and travels extensively, with a curiosity that makes her stand out. Her English is flawless. She was waiting for us in Puerto Quetzel, which was a great start. Daniela tailored our day in Antigua based on our preferences and provided informative commentary during the drive, covering history, geography, and local culture. In Antigua, she expertly navigated us through the old city with a well-planned walking tour. The charming restaurant for lunch was a highlight. Overall, it was a magical day. We will definitely seek her out again in Guatemala!

Dani was amazing. There is nothing better than arriving in a new city and getting a tour guide that takes your brief and delivers. We got picked up in Puerto Quetzal and did a tour of Antigua and its surrounding areas which included tasting local dishes and drinking local beers from a brewery. Thanks Dani we had a great time and hope to see you soon. Your fav Aussies
