Hi, I am Olivier, your wine tour guide in Lyon. I started a tour guide company in 2013 to make you discover the beautiful vineyards around the city of Lyon in France. I truly have a passion for wine and history and I communicate it around me, through authentic moments of touring and tasting. The goal is to escape from the big city for a day trip in the vineyards: please, let me show you, how wine is important in the French culture. I like to say that wine appreciation is not a subject for experts and even if my country is full of different appellations based on terroir, on the labels, there is a way to introduce anyone to a better wine knowledge as long as we like wine and are willing to share a new experience. I propose you to come to see scenic places, meet great wine makers, taste savoury wines and discover the unique stories behind each one. I'm looking forward to seeing you for a tour to come! Great guide. colloquial English -he has spent years in Canada. Went out of his way so i could stand for a photo in front of La Chapelle on Hermitage hill. Don't do that unless fit! Great lunch. Great knowledge of wine and production. Would recommend highly

Oliver was a perfect tour guide. I had requested custom architecture site visits to some sites not typically covered by tour guides. Oliver worked closely with me to review which sites could be clustered together for a single trip. This was our second tour with Olivier (having previously explored Burgundy and Beaune with him), and he somehow managed to exceed our already high expectations. He guided my wife and I through the Northern Rhône, acting as our personal chauffeur, oenologist, sommelier, and historian all rolled into one.
