Hi my name is Mario. I am one of those tourguides that didn't start as a tourguide but moved to the profession because of passion! I use to belong to the corporate world, working in finance as my Unviersity degree said I should! However, when I was 24 I decided to do what I really loved in life and that was guiding. I took 4 months off to travel and see how people guide and booking tours around the world, and I got the idea of how I wanted to guide. I decided that I was going to be always myself, honest and transparent. I don't want people to feel that they are with a tourguide but with a friend they came to visit in Ecuador! I came back, started the training to be a tourguide and here I am! I also lived in the United States for couple of months when I was 21 to become fluent in the language, so that won't be barrier for us!
