I'm born and have been living in Plovdiv all my life except for five and a half years when I was studying Tourism management in Varna and two long summers working as a student in a hotel in Maine, USA. I love traveling around the world to experience local cultures, meet different people, learn about them and explore ancient civilizations. I'm also very interested in hiking, cycling, skiing, beautiful music from all over the world and exciting books. I'm glad to show off my area as there are many amazing landmarks and sceneries to be discovered in Plovdiv region and Bulgaria. I have long years of experience in guiding guests from many countries with different backgrounds and from all ages. I'm a Bulgarian state licensed tour guide, knowledgeable about my country, positive and smiling, helpful and patient with my clients and always with a natural friendly approach. I have designed my tours in a way to show my guests the most impressive places in Plovdiv area and Bulgaria as well. 2016: Licensed tour guide by the Bulgarian Ministry of Tourism (from the first wave of state licensing) 2005: Tour guide certificate from "Protour - 95" (Plovdiv) 2002-2004: University of Economics (Varna) - master degree in Tourism management 1997-2002: University of Economics (Varna) - bachelor degree in Tourism management 1992-1997: French language high school (Plovdiv)

We enjoyed this tour even though the weather was not completely agreeable. Our guide was enthusiastic and provided umbrellas along with historical information and fun facts. Even though the tour ran late, he kindly stayed with us as long as was needed to see everything of interest which had been planned.

We did a fabulous day trip with Kamen exploring the beautiful old capital and churches nearby. The drive was lovely and Kamen is a knowledgeable, patient and friendly guide. We learned so much and were able to ask a lot of questions. It was a wonderful day and we highly recommend Kamen as a guide!

We had a wonderful tour exploring Plovdiv with Kamen! He showed us so many things that we weren't aware of or didn't understand as we had walked around the city on our own, which made everything we saw so much more meaningful. Kamen is very knowledgeable, friendly and clearly loves history. We enjoyed his tour immensely!

We had a wonderful day with Kamen. He went the extra mile to coordinate an additional tour at a Rose Farm/Distillery. We were very lucky to have a personal tour with the owner during peak harvest! Kamen's English was perfect and his car pristine. We very much enjoyed his grasp of the long Bulgarian history, the sites we visited, and his perspective given his worldly...
