¡Bienvenidos a La Paz! My Name is Marcelo, but friends call me Chelo. I am a Native of La Paz City, and I have been working with tourists since sixteen. For a long time, I've dedicated myself to working in tourism, starting at the early age of sixteen, as a counter, guide, waiter, and tour leader across SA. I also worked in many other areas in the industry. All of this has helped me gain all the necessary experience and knowledge to offer the best experiences for travelers that want to visit La Paz and Bolivia. I am really passionate about what I do, I Love it! I am an honest person with a good sense of humor, easy talk, and chill. I'm a lover of my culture, a proud Bolivian that wants to show La Paz and my country at its highest. I want to show you its traditions, costumes, and local life like no other, so tourists can leave happy and with the best impression that Bolivia has to offer. I am a certified guide by the Gobernacion de La Paz (La Paz Governors' office) I'm not a driver, but I can arrange a vehicle and driver upon request

We enjoyed a full day venturing from Santa Cruz (nearly 3 hours) to Samaipata to visit the famous and ancient Giant Fern forest which was remarkable to experience. We also visited the local town of Samaipata which is not exciting to visit. Lunch was at a local restaurant and nothing remarkable. We also visited a local winery and sampled some of Bolivia's finest wines...
