This was the best tour that I have had in Vietnam. Matthew. (Luc) had an excellent command of the historical, religious and cultural facts related to the sites that we visited. However, I never felt like I was being given a dry presentation of the facts only. I always sensed his passion for the subject matter at hand. Not only that he was exceedingly friendly and a pleasure to be around. He was giving of his time and of himself. I cannot say enough, good things about touring with Matthew. If you get the opportunity to take a tour with Matthew I would recommend that. I toured sites in and around Hue with him. But had I known that he also went further a field. I would’ve booked my tour from Hue to Hoi An with him as well. Ten Stars.
Mathew is a very knowledgeable tour guide, with good English. Exactly what we wished for and agreed upon before the tour - with emphasis on history, the history of architecture, local customs, and local cuisine.
Matthew was outstanding! First of all, he was punctual and patient. His command of English is excellent, and he is very knowledgeable about the history of the Imperial City of Hue. We appreciate his arranging a round trip transfer and checking to make sure we arrived without any issues. Matthew was also kind to help us with photographs.
