Hue City Private Tour Full Day

Hoa was an amazing ambassador for Vietnam. A very personable and well-informed guide with great English skills. His passion for his country's history and culture shines through. We booked him for three consecutive days, and he did an amazing job of planning excursions, including to sites a tourist would never find. When a member of our party became ill, he immediately restructured the plans to allow for recovery. I could not give a higher recommendation.

Zeb is an exceptional guide who delivered a pitch perfect tour for us. His combination of passion, knowledge, engagement skills, language skills (he conversed effortlessly with the locals) choice of itinerary, great food and snack choices in non-touristed spots, great energy and curiosity and willingness to answer all our many questions put him in the top 3 of all the tours we’ve done in our lives (over 100). He’s new to tours by Locals and he’s a gem!

We did this tour on 1/20/26. This was a well organized and very enjoyable day. It was worth the price. Our tour guide, Hoa was very pleasant, accommodating, and knowledgeable about the history of Vietnam, Hue, and all of the attractions we visited. I would highly recommend him. We visited all of the listed main attractions except the Minh Mang royal tomb (due to time attractions close at 5 PM and we started our day a little later than usual - our preference). Our hotel was in Danang. Be aware that the tour is intended to start and end in Hue. Although the website says, "you can request a different meeting location (for example, your hotel) during the checkout process", there was no mention of additional transport fees to come from Danang, at booking. Since we were located in Danang, there was an additional $70 USD for transport for the day. The website is confusing about this issue.

Hoa is an excellent guide. We had a private tour of Hue with him. He is very knowledgeable about the area and able to bring it alive. One comes away with a much better sense of Hue and Vietnam than would be possible trying to tour alone or in a group.

Hoa was amazing. Our ship changed ports without us knowing but Hoa discovered the issue, changed our itinerary to address the issue and secured Tin Tin who became one of our all time favorite guides. We cannot imagine anyone better in making any arrangements you could ask for in this region. He is phenomenal at his job.

We had a superb tour of Hue City . Our guide Hoa Van Pham was knowledgable and totally fluent in English He met us on time along with a driver and minivan . He made the whole tour interesting and enjoyable . And was a nice guy . So highly recommended .
