Dear friends who will come to Vietnam and especially Hue City. My name is Thanh Ha (English name is Dylan). I was born and raised in a poor rural area and attached to fields in Thanh Hoa province. In 1991 when I was 10 years old, my family was moved to Hue. Everything was so new and I was shocked when my neighbours called me Viet Cong and despised me. I was very sad and disappointed, then I asked my father why and he told me: You have to study hard and learn history a lot and you will understand when you grow up. Since then I have been hard-working and passionate about the history of Vietnam divided by the war. When I was growing up I became serious about it, I tried to read books and meet local old people to learn and understand the culture of Hue people, it really attracted me to become a guide later. I can share and recount what belongs to the tragic and heroic past of the Hue people. Up to this point, I have been working as a guide for more than 10 years. I really love this job and always have a wish to meet and share with tourists visiting Hue about history, local culture, royal culture, local food. . . I have a certificate as an English speaking tour guide provided by Vietnam National Administration of Tourism None

Overview of your Hue tour
Hoi An is considered as the forming port city of the thriving Sa Huynh community in the region of Vietnam. It was between the 2nd and 15th centuries, Hoi An was under the administration of the Champa Kingdom. Later, Hoi An turned into a trading port, with trade links with Arabia and China. According to Hoi An history, the port of Lam Ap town has turned into what is called Hoi An today. This area flourished with Tra Kieu and My Son, the capital with temples of the Champa Kingdom. According to the history of Hoi An, the settlement of the Cham civilization in Hoi An is known for the presence of a Cham port connecting maritime trade. Due to Hoi An's strategic location along the fusion point of Quang Nam and other positive conditions, the province showed obvious signs of development during the 16th to the 19th centuries. That was on the 4th of May. In December 1999, Hoi An was included in the list of World Heritage Sites by UNESCO.
