Hello! I'm a passionate local tour guide based in Hoi An, central Vietnam, with 14 years of experience creating meaningful, personalized journeys for travelers from around the world. My focus is on green tourism, sustainable agriculture, and experiences that live in harmony with nature. I’m deeply committed to responsible and eco-friendly travel that supports local communities, protects Vietnam’s environment, and celebrates traditional rural life. I’ve actively participated in local government projects to promote sustainable tourism, and I love sharing authentic, low-impact ways to explore central Vietnam. I guide you personally on every tour, arrange reliable transportation (I’m not a driver myself, but I organize trusted cars and drivers), and can coordinate additional services such as farm-to-table meals using fresh organic ingredients, cooking classes with local produce, handicraft workshops, beach BBQs, sports activities, tickets, and more. Hoi An, my peaceful hometown, is an ideal base for sustainable stays — from eco-friendly homestays to luxurious hotels. You can connect easily with friendly locals, explore the famous tailoring tradition (a suit or dress made in just hours!), and join me on visits to nearby organic farms, rice paddies, and community gardens to learn about traditional farming and sustainable agriculture. Da Nang offers breathtaking white-sand beaches for relaxation, the iconic Golden Bridge, Marble Mountains, and Monkey Mountains — perfect for nature-focused exploration and responsible sightseeing. I also arrange scenic trips to the Imperial Citadel in Hue via the beautiful Hai Van Pass, highlighting the region’s natural landscapes and eco-conscious routes. In my free time, I enjoy reading books on culture and history, cooking with seasonal local ingredients, and playing football.I’m a fully licensed tour guide, certified by the Vietnam National Tourism Administration, and a graduate of Da Nang Foreign Languages University with professional training in tour guiding. We had a wonderful time with Dennis (Hai Nguyen). He was very helpful and planned our tour well.
Tour was completely tailored to our requirements and Dennis (and our driver) were great and really looked after us. We had a fabulous day in Da Nang, visiting Marble Mountain, Military Museum, Lady Buddha and a delicious (and exceptionally cheap) local lunch at a street cafe. We were taken back to our cruise ship in good time. Would highly recommend Dennis.
Although Hoi An is an amazing place, we were underwhelmed by the tour led by Dennis (Hai). It is advertised as an "8-hour" tour, but was actually under 6 hours (and he was a bit late meeting us). Maybe he was bored, but we felt that he was knowledgeable but not enthusiastic about what he was doing. We also wished that he discussed what sites he planned to take us to in Hoi An, as 2 (or 3?) of the 5 stops seemed to be stops for selling souvenirs (albeit good souvenirs). Maybe we have high expectations?
We had a nice experience exploring Hoi An. Dennis was kind and helpful, he recommended a very good restaurant along the riverside for lunch and we had coffee after at a rooftop coffee shop. Thank you Dennis!
Dennis is very reliable and friendly and was able to give us some very interesting history about Bana hills, marble mountain and Hoi An. I would certainly recommend him to friends and family.
Denis is a cheerful and knowledgable person who provided us with a great day. His timing was perfect. Cycling all day (at our request) he urged us to stop when the temperature became very high and took us on a boat trip which was refreshing. Afterwards, when the temperature dropped we continued to visit the country side through truly delightful backlanes where no other tourist where to be seen and that in Hoi An.
From your hotel we will embark on an enchanting walking tour around the UNESCO-listed Hoi An Ancient Town.
