Hoi An ancient town and traditional village by bicycle (full day tour)

Eric was absolutely superb. From the moment we met him, his warmth and charm set the tone for an unforgettable experience. His English is excellent, making everything feel effortless and engaging, and he has a natural way of weaving humor into the day—he kept us laughing throughout. What truly stood out was how flexible, patient, and easygoing he is. He tailored the experience seamlessly to our pace and interests, never rushed, always thoughtful. It felt less like a tour and more like spending the day with a wonderful, insightful friend. Eric has a deep understanding of authentic local life, and he shared it in a way that felt genuine, nuanced, and personal. We saw and experienced things we never would have found on our own. This was our second tour with Eric and it was incredible. We did all things Hoi An but with someone who grew in the area. It was nice to get his perspective on the history and get to do things a bit like a local. Eric was not only out guide but became our friend and make our trip to this region truly wonderful.

Our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 older teens) absolutely LOVED this tour. Eric is an amazing guide and gave us an incredible experience for our first time in Vietnam. He is knowledgeable, funny and kind, and showed us parts of Hoi An we never would have found on our own. We cycled through rice farms with water buffalo, helped a local farmer in Tra Que vegetable village water his crops, enjoyed a variety of local drinks and Bahn Mi, made clay pots at the Thanh Ha Pottery village, rode in a round basket boat, visited Hoi An old town centre, spent time at the market and ancient house, visited a museum, walked across the Japanese covered bridge, enjoyed a different boat ride, plus more! Eric even arranged a private transfer to and from our cruise ship. Thank you Eric, our port day in Vietnam could not have been better 😊

Wonderful Tour with a Fantastic Guide! Our day in Hoi An was unforgettable – and a big reason for that was Eric, our amazing guide. He picked us up directly at the Robinson Club Hoi An, was super reliable, and incredibly friendly. Eric shared his deep knowledge and love for Hoi An as we walked through the old town and explored the countryside. The basket boat ride, pottery-making, and herb village visit were all unique and fun. A special highlight: lunch at Hoi An’s most famous Bánh Mì spot – absolutely delicious! Exceptional tour on every level. Hoi an and the coconut village have been one of our favourite destinations in the world and Eric made the day even more memorable. The depth of his knowledge about his home was outstanding and we will forever share the stories we learnt during this tour.
