Take a trip to discover one of the most beautiful regions of Vietnam; from the modern delight of Da Nang city and its stunning coastline to the mysterious caves and pagodas of Marble Mountain. Drive through the lush landscape of the highest mountain pass in the country, the iconic Hai Van Pass On the national highway-01, Hai Van Pass is an impressive landscape. It is like a giant dragon, lying on the geographical boundary between Da Nang and Thua Thien-Hue Province. Then, head to Lang Co Beach. With its gradually sloping, white sand beach, an average depth of less than 1m, and an average temperature in the bathing season of 25 °C, Lang Co is an ideal beach for travelers.
Your journey begins at 9:00 AM, where I’ll meet you at the designated meeting point in Da Nang. From there, we’ll head north along the coastal road toward the majestic Hai Van Pass. At the summit, we’ll stop at Hai Van Quan for panoramic views and fresh mountain air. Next, we descend toward Lang Co Beach, passing a peaceful fishing village along the way. Once at Lang Co, you’ll have free time to relax, and take in the sea breeze. We’ll enjoy a delicious seafood lunch at a local restaurant before continuing. In the afternoon, we drive back to Da Nang via the Hai Van Tunnel, then stop to explore the Marble Mountains—a cluster of limestone and marble hills home to ancient pagodas and caves. Finally, we’ll head to the Son Tra Peninsula, where you’ll visit Linh Ung Pagoda, known for its towering statue of the Goddess of Mercy (Lady Buddha), the tallest in Vietnam. Set against the backdrop of mountains and sea, it’s a photogenic spot to end our day before returning.
