Hoi An & Da Nang Highlights Private Tour

Eric did an outstanding job of showing us both the historic sights and also integrating in the local culture. We loved the stories and would love to hear what his son “popcorn” will be named one day. You won’t be disappointed taking a tour with Eric.

I booked a shore excursion to Da Nang and Hoi An with Eric, who was a pleasure to work with. I sent many messages with questions and Eric always responded promptly. We customized the tour to see everything I was interested in. Lunch was included in this full day tour. Drop off at the ship was included, which was added insurance in case unexpected traffic delayed the return to the ship. Eric was waiting a short walk from the pier and we had a wonderful tour with him. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and flexible. We visited everything on the itinerary, which included Linh Ung Pagoda (tallest Buddha statue in S.E. Asia), Dragon Bridge, Marble Mountains, the UNESCO site of Hoi An, and the Con Market (a huge market in Da Nang with hundreds of vendors). We had a Banh Mi lunch at a local restaurant, with a choice of what we ordered. I heartily recommend Eric for his tour in Vietnam.

This was a fantastic tour. Such a great day. Eric was so friendly and very informative. My group was extremely satisfied. I started to worry that a 10 hr tour would be too long but Eric planned a very well paced day for us. We saw and did so much and everything was so smoothy and easy. We learned so much about Vietnam and Eric and his family, it was so interesting. A couple of temples/pagadas and the bridge in Danang and then Hoi An. it was all magical!!! Do not hesiate to book with Eric!!!!

Eric provided a fantastic tour of Da Nang and Hoi An. His English is excellent, and having grown up in Hoi An, he brought a uniquely personal perspective to the experience. He took us to his favorite spots—places well off the usual tourist trail—which made the tour feel special and authentic. It was, by far, the best tour we took in Vietnam.
