My name is Hung, I hold a BA in History and Culture and have been working in tourism in central Vietnam for over a decade, arranging private tours and experiences for guests. I am also a certified guide with 10 years of professional experience. In my free time, I enjoy reading extensively about culture, history, economics, cuisine, politics and religion from different countries, which allows me to offer deeper context and meaningful stories during my tours. I am a food lover and storyteller, born and raised in the beautiful city of Da Nang, a place I know like the back of my hand. I live right between Da Nang and Hoi An with my family. I might be a new guide on this platform, but rest assured that my extensive experience guiding for the entirety of the past decade allows me to create memorable, authentic experiences for travellers who want to explore Vietnam. Xin Chào Viet Nam and Da Nang!

On this tour, we'll visit the Museum of Cham Sculpture, which showcases the world's largest Hinduism sculptures. Along the tour, I'll shed light on Vietnam's history, such as that of the Champa Kingdom in Central Vietnam, one of Southeast Asia's earliest nations, as we see relics taken from the famous My Son Towers, the first Hinduism centre in the region, which are 60 kms away. We'll also admire the Dragon Bridge, one of the most iconic bridges in the world with a length of over 650 m, and the stunning Da Nang Cathedral, which also goes by 2 more different names! We'll visit the An Long Pagoda as well, where we'll discuss how Mahayana Buddhism and local beliefs still affect local life here, as I share fascinating stories with you, some involving the Chinese community living in Vietnam. Da Nang had many US military bases that were built from 1965 to 1967 In addition to all that, you'll discover Vietnam's best signature cuisine and learn about coffee culture!
-After we've gathered, we'll step inside the museum, where we'll see the most beautiful sculptures of Hinduism that the Cham people engraved from the 7th to the 13th centuries. -Next, we'll step inside the An Long Pagoda. -Later, we'll walk along the Han river to take in the amazing sights of the Dragon Bridge and the .... bridge. -We'll then stop by the Ha Noi corner, also known as the corner of quite street, where we'll taste the delicious Pho, Vietnam's most typical noodle soup, in a local restaurant. -From there, we'll pass by the Da Nang Cathedral and see its beautiful facade. -Afterwards, we'll walk through Han Market, which was built by French during colonial periods and is now the biggest market in central Vietnam. -Our last stop will be at the Ambient cafe, where you''ll get to taste traditional salt coffee or coconut coffee.
