I love my hometown. I was born and raised in the Washington, DC area. I've watched it change over the years to the city it is today. I am a second generation tour guide. My father taught me everything about giving tours. He was considered one of the best. He instilled in me that a good tour guide meets the need of whom ever hired him. When I'm not giving tours, I'm in the classroom as a guest social studies teacher. I've been teaching almost as long as I've been giving tours. I enjoy showing families the city in a very personal way. I think it's the only way to see it. Licensed tour guide for 30+ years. CPR/First Aid Certified. Former middle school Social Studies Teacher. Due to limited parking, I will not be able to escort you through the attractions. I am limited to where I will pick up to start tours.

Overview of your Washington Dc tour
Imagine seeing some of history's iconic air and space vehicles fully assembled. That is what you have when you visit the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center. You can walk with me as your guide to highlight different exhibits in the museum or choose to explore on you own with the time allotted. See planes that were used at the beginning of our air travel experience to the most complicated space vehicle ever created, the space shuttle. Even give the flight simulators a try (not included in cost). This five hour excursion (3 hours in the museum) is one of the best times you can have on a visit to the Nation's Capital.

- Depart from your place of lodging (approximately 45-60 minutes travel time). - View a video on the history of the Smithsonian's air and space collection. - Arrive at the Udvar-Hazy Center for a 3 hour visit. - Return to place of lodging or selected other sight to end the day.
